MEMBERSHIP

Bound by a love of music, COPW members enjoy a strong social and cultural network. Membership is open to women and men who are or have been engaged as professionals in their chosen field. We invite you to join COPW to further your love of music and the arts. Please contact Ratna Jones for more information about becoming a member.

Criteria for Membership

Application: Please fill out the application form and e-mail or mail it to our COPW Membership Chair: Ratna Jones. The chairperson can discuss the requirements and benefits of membership in more detail and answer any questions you may have. All prospective membership applications are submitted to the Board of Directors for admission into the Committee. The Los Angeles Philharmonic requires all affiliate members to pass a basic background check.  

Dues: Annual dues are $70. For those joining during the second half of the season (January-April), dues are prorated to $35. Those joining in May will pay $70 to include the coming dues year.To renew a membership please follow the instructions on the renewal form.

Philharmonic Season Subscription: COPW members are required to purchase a season ticket subscription at WDCH or the Hollywood Bowl. In lieu of a season subscription, a gift of $120 to the student ticket fund will satisfy this requirement.

Benefits

COPW Events & Activities: COPW events and activities are open to members and their guests. All events seek to further our members’ appreciation and understanding of music and the arts.

News Notes: Published three times per year by COPW, News Notes is designed exclusively for our members. It highlights recent and upcoming events, and the latest Committee news.

Affiliate Membership: COPW membership automatically enrolls you as an Affiliate member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. COPW is one of 16 Affiliate Committees, each established as a support group to the LA Phil. Affiliate membership further expands our social and cultural network to like minded groups, and entitles members to exclusive invitations to rehearsals, lectures and other events sponsored by the LA Phil.

Discounts: Each LA Phil season subscription entitles members to discounts at the Walt Disney Concert Hall gift shop.
